Who want’s to go camping this weekend like the Posh Pua gals? I’ll bring the mini grill and cerveza.
Posh Pua. Easy Island ‘Kinis.

Sometimes, a line…just gets it. Gets it, meaning, the look, feel, simplicity, and image is as perfectly Hawaiian beach babe as it gets. Such is the case with Posh Pua.
Designer Julie Stone is a wife, mother of 2 boys, and also the Einstein of bikini craftsmanship. After learning to sew from her mom when she was little, Julie has been making bikinis ever since, having the perfect fitting bikini as her ultimate goal. (Yes, trial and error and children’s department shopping was involved in the research.) Well we all should write Julie a thank you note for all of her work, because there is a line for perfect fitting, supportive, non-cutting-in, tiny, can be worn surfing, and never gives you a muffin top, not too expensive, amazing, go-to bikinis. Phew!
Letarte and a few of my favorite things

Golfing in a bikini & coverup, and lounging in a hammock. Letarte knows a few of my favorite things, very, very well.

Every single time I wear this shirt, someone asks me if I won.
…really?

Imrie Boutique. A little retail heaven

If I won a large amount of money tomorrow. I would give some to charity then book a flight back to Maui, hop in a rental car (maybe even upgrade to an SUV for the road to Hana) and go buy an entirely new wardrobe at Imrie Boutique.
The place is what stylin’ beach babes dream of. Acacia and other hard to find amazing bikinis fill up the swim section, and a vast array of super sweet lines in prices that work with any budget, fill up the color coordinated racks (Aila Blue & Maui Rose included). It is light, breezy, comfortable, completely unpretentious and you can tell a bunch of love and thought is put into running it, and each item that is ordered.
Even cooler, Imrie is a family owned and run boutique. Plus, they even have some items that they design and make themselves mixed in. I am a proud owner of one of their Capitalo belted mini skirts, and am wishing I would’ve snatched up one of their long sleeve distressed, buttery soft v-necks as well….and a cardigan…and another dress…and maybe a clutch.
Never fear, they ship, also have a seasonal store in the Hamptons, and have some items you can buy on their facebook page. (I highly recommend you like it)
Finally, to the lovely Lola, thank you for all of your help. You are gorgeous and oh so stylin….must run in the family.

It’s opaque charcoal gray, but still kinda blue. Whatever color it really is, this shall continue to cover my toes for quite a while.

Maui Rose. Sacs de plage j’aime

There are beach bags, then there are perfect beach bags. Perfect in the sense that they can hold whatever insanely random collection of items you throw in it, are durable, have a perfect amount of style, and a little something special added to it. Such is the case with the bags from Maui Rose Hawaii.
Designer Marion Girardin Makes the bags on Maui, is French, fantastic and an ace at designing her collection. From leather accents, custom screened prints, to 100% vintage Hawaiian fabric lining (made in Hawaii), these bags give off the jet-setter meets bohemian beach surfer babe style…which I adore.
The bag that made my jaw drop was the weekender bag (pictured above - also available in tan with red coral). It reminds me of something I would grab on a whim to hop on a Cessna for a last minute weekend trip. And, for that very reason, I would want to use everyday.
Vibrant, simple, travel-inspiring, and handmade in Hawaii. That’s one delicious beach bag.
Email Marion at info@mauirose.us for orders or more information. She’s a total sweetie.

One month and one week until Honolua. Ahhh Maui.
Ciao Rockabella

I love wana…when I am not stepping on it and it’s dipped in gold and worn as a pendant around my neck. I adore sharks teeth… not attached to a living shark, dipped in gold and worn as earrings. Getting lei’d is the best…especially if it’s a 14k gold one. Take some of the best icons of the beach & Hawaii, dip them in gold, make them deliciously stylin’ and you, my friends, have Rockabella Jewels.
Rockabella raised the bar on creativity for beach jewelry. From island name plates to Gold dipped shell Mai Tais, it’s the perfect jewelry line for beach babes with a little bit of an inner rock star. I think if I were to wear this jaw-dropping Tahitian Pearl Leather Bracelet (by Pearl. Love.), I would undoubtedly be belting out some ACDC, while in a bikini, on the beach.
Each of the pieces can be worn everyday, but are also a quick way to turn any outfit from blah to ahhh. The line is handmade in Maui, and is always changing. So if you see something you like, grab it…now.
Make sure to become a fan of Rockabella on facebook, and you’ll be in the loop for the latest sales and whatever new design comes up next. I’m sensing a jellyfish. But that would be hard to dip in gold.
Available Online and at select boutiques.
Ciao.
