Rain or shine, Hawaii is mighty fine.

I swear, I could start a whole blog containing only pics of palm trees taken on my iphone.

This…is why getting up super early, is pretty easy to do.
Tropical Sunset Toes

Palm trees, a tropical sunset, and your toes. Heck it’s called nail ART so why not paint a little mural on your toes? I did and it really is quite therapeutic. It’s like an escapism pedicure, and would make for a great real sunset on the beach photo op.
So let me channel my inner Bob Ross, and teach you how to make some happy little toes.
Here Today, gone to Maui.

I snuck over to Maui for two days last week with my mom who is visiting. Whoever thought a camera phone could take such sweet pics? Instagram and the scenery help, but still…
Top to bottom: A Maui Jim Sunset..,on Maui (Those are my moms Original Maui Jims from 1985). Walking on Baldwin beach in Paia (how sweet are those clouds?!). Hibiscus mosaic in the Grand Wailea fountain…and finally, yours truly, right before she fell off a palm tree.

I can’t get enough of these shorts. And yes, I shake ‘em like a Polaroid Picture.
Aloha pom pom shorts by Wonderland Honolulu. These puppies are getting famous.
Tahiti. Take me there.

When planning a trip, it’s hard to not make Tahiti the #1 spot to lust to wander…crystal clear water, amazing beaches, oh heck..it’s Tahiti, who wouldn’t want to go there. Best part, it’s only a 5 hour flight from Hawaii. The resorts look beyond amazing, but I’d prefer to charter a catamaran and island hop, do some diving, surfing (smaller waves where I won’t die), exploring, and enjoy having no cell phone service and having the only screen I look at…be one on a digital camera. Maybe even switch to film for a week.
I’m. So. There. That hammock has my name on it.
The Sandtorialist

Spotted: Lanikai Beach – A stylin’ long locked & laid back beach babe walking her dog Koby (not pictured) on a perfect beach day.
Name: Rosalyn
Wearing: A bikini by Vix and Hat by Roxy
Favorite Beach: Waimanalo, Oahu (and Lanikai…hard to chose)
Dream Vacation: Also a hard decision. Greek Isles, Ireland, China, or Africa.
Thanks Rosalyn (and Koby), hope you enjoyed your fun in the sun.

4 more days until I’m back on the Garden Isle.
I took this pic (using 35mm film) on my first trip there.

The only thing that would be better than a bear hug, flowers and a kiss on Valentine’s Day.
