Since Maui Rose opened up their online store, I figured I’d make a dream beach bag, that’s actually…MINE. Here is some of the gear I love and have accumulated over the years. Ok I don’t own all of it, some of it’s still on the wishlist, and you can’t put old worn down 10 year old cutoffs on polyvore. But, it’s pretty darn close.

In about 10 days It will be my birthday. Nope, not telling you how old I will be. So I thought I’d conjure up a Dream Beach bag wishlist. But really, I get to go spend a week on Maui with my family, so I’d be more than content with just the sunscreen from this latest bag. Maybe throw in the coconut water too.

There are beach bags, then there are perfect beach bags. Perfect in the sense that they can hold whatever insanely random collection of items you throw in it, are durable, have a perfect amount of style, and a little something special added to it. Such is the case with the bags from Maui Rose Hawaii.
Designer Marion Girardin Makes the bags on Maui, is French, fantastic and an ace at designing her collection. From leather accents, custom screened prints, to 100% vintage Hawaiian fabric lining (made in Hawaii), these bags give off the jet-setter meets bohemian beach surfer babe style…which I adore.
The bag that made my jaw drop was the weekender bag (pictured above - also available in tan with red coral). It reminds me of something I would grab on a whim to hop on a Cessna for a last minute weekend trip. And, for that very reason, I would want to use everyday.
Vibrant, simple, travel-inspiring, and handmade in Hawaii. That’s one delicious beach bag.

Hey, a gal’s gotta dream. So I say, dream big. Here is my version of the ultimate beach bag ensemble, down to the lip gloss, extra bikini, and sketch book…all which happen to fit into my dream beach bag (yes it is that big so all items will in fact fit.) Yup, this would be a very fun, laid back, and extremely stylish day of fun in the sun.
