I must confess. Deep down on the inside, I’m a wanna be boho jet setter. Deep down I have an infatuation with Isabel Marant, which I can’t afford. (It’s either shoes or rent. Rent always wins.) Deep down, I am scared of looking like a handbag when I’m 60 since I love being outside so much. And deep down, ok well this is more widely known, I have an admiration for extremely large tote bags that I can throw in pretty much all belongings I’d need on a 48hour basis.

Dream Beach Bag. Oh Mei goodness.

Oh Mei Goodness. It’s not a typo, I’m talking about the bag (literally, it’s by Mei Vintage) and all the delectable items that are out there, begging you to bring them to the beach. The bag = 100% natural hemp and hand knotted leather, the swimwear = a bunch of jaw droppers, and the rest…well check it out. Especially the little handmade cross body bag (made with authentic vintage kimono fabric), my favorite nail polish color for summer, one of the sweetest beach hats I’ve seen in a while, and of course, this one piece.

There’s so much radness out there in the world right now, I can hardly contain myself. But given that I am on a spending freeze for the next month (or two) to compensate from last month’s vacation. I have no choice…but to contain myself.

I’m just a weeee bit excited about this upcoming trip to Tahiti. So, naturally, a dream vacation would deserve it’s own dream beach bag full of radness. Given the cost of this trip, the odds of me actually shopping are rather slim. Actually, I’ll probably end up packing an hour before we have to leave…and forgetting my tooth brush.

Dream Beach bag. Fall. Me Gusta.

Fall could quite possibly be THE best time for beach bums, not only in terms of fun waves, but also for some fun gear. Summer items go on clearance, and lines start releasing their collections for the next year. Which means, my Visa gets swiped much more than it should. Dream Beach Bag. Where the wild, and on sale, things are.

This was a dangerous bag to make. Almost everything in it is on sale, or worthy of using up your monthly shopping budget on… which, if you are like me, isn’t that much. Seriously, it’s taking all my will power not to buy those leopard pants and cropped neon sweatshirt. So, enjoy a bunch o’ wild, bright, & fun items…some are even for a really good cause (Be sure to check out the Pura vida bracelets) and the Tkees sandals are officially my feet’s new obsession.

Dream Beach Bag. Summer Savers.

Now, my friends, is the fun time to shop for beach gear. Everything in this bag is either on sale, a total life saver, or just plain awesome.  For instance, the newest Mimi chaos bikini, a new Fresh lip balm color (CORAL!), sweet new beach bling, some killer Tori Praver deals, a perfect cropped Wildfox tee to surf in… and a little miraculous invention called the Kenu Highline. It’s an iphone safety leash that keeps you organized and from dropping your phone. I really needed it a few weeks ago when I drove off with my phone on the hood of my car.  Yes, these are summer savers. Literally.

Dream Beach Bag. Beachin’ Summer.

Warning: There are some lovely beach bag items out there. Ones that will make you look put together even though you just rolled out of bed, and good news…they cost less, actually way less, than a tank of gas. I figured, ride a bike instead of drive for a week, and voila, there’s an excuse to treat yourself to a little somethin’ somethin’.
