Some sweet (low cal) iced tea.

Water. It’s the best thing out there for you to drink. Well, sitting behind good ‘ol H2O, in a close second, is…Tea. People all over have been drinking it in all types of forms, for ages. It has loads of health benefits, so I figured out a few ways to drink some more of it, preferably of the iced/fruit/herb infused variety.

Ala, here are some rather sweet iced teas. (Sorry, not that kind of sweet tea…keeping sugar to a minimum here.)

Coconut Oil Peanut Butter. It’s delish. Make some.

Coconut oil. It’s amazing for you (just ask Dr. OZ.) I actually eat a tablespoon of it in the morning, then another one after dinner. I swear it helps cure cravings for sweets…and Miranda Kerr does the same thing, so I’m hoping I grow dimples.

Peanut Butter, well that’s a household staple. Filling, full of protein and good stuff, I slather it on a lot of things. So, when I stumbled on a jar of coconut peanut spread. A large light bulb went off above my head.

I had to try and make it. And I did. And it’s delicious. So I had to share.

Pumpkin Tea. Drink a latte.

For some reason, people go absolutely berserk over anything pumpkin flavored from October through January. However, mass consumption of those beverages and foods aren’t exactly forgiving on the wallet, or bikini bod. So I, after stumbling on a bunch of different pumpkin spiced tees, am suggesting switching this mass consumption to the antioxidant-rich, low cal, tea variety.

Here is a hot and cold recipe to get you through the next few months. So, bottoms up…and cheeky bottoms on :)

Main ingredient. Pumpkin spice tea: Made by Bigelow, Celestial Seasonings or Republic of Teas

Beach Beauty: Homemade Rose Water

Rose Water is a little wonder water. It hydrates, tones, tightens pores, is great for your skin…and smells good. I got an amazing bottle of it by this Australian line called Uskincare…and might I add it was a Christmas gift. (I just now finished the bottle. I was milking it as long as I could. Definitely my favorite toner to date.) It’s also perfect to pack in the beach bag and spritz on for some hydration or instant dewification. The only prob, my beloved product was $45…

RX Bikini Bod: DIY Salad Dressing

A salad. One of the best things to eat a ton of when you want to look and feel your best. Unfortunately after slicing, dicing, chopping and picking out the freshest veggies, fruits and ingredients, most people douse it in a store bought bottle containing a ton of sugar, preservatives, chemicals, and gunk. Somewhere, a carrot is shedding a tear and organic greens are protesting.

Don’t worry a healthy, made from scratch salad dressing is one of the tastiest and easiest things to whip up.

Here are a few of may favorites:

RX Bikini Bod: Greek Yogurt Dips. Tri Betta Dippas

Guest blog post for Foam

Greek yogurt is like the Superman of the dairy world. It’s loaded with protein (18g per 6oz serving), calcium (20% of your daily needs) and probiotics (which help your digestive system immensely), while being low in carbohydrates and sodium. It’s definitely on the grocery list each week. Thankfully, its super thick texture makes it a great base ingredient for a healthy dip, which leads to a healthy snack, which leads to us all eating, way, way more healthfully.

Somehow, snacks can either make or break your nutrition fill for the day, and that can of Pringles and queso dip can be downed in one sitting way too easily. But with any one of these dips (and suggested dippers) you’ll have a quick and easy snack that does your body some good. Lots of good.

A healthy tropical hot chocolate

It’s been freezing in Hawaii lately. I’m talking low to mid 70’s and rain here folks. I’ve even had to wear a long sleeve shirt regularly.

End Sarcasm. Begin recipe for a healthy, cuddle inducing cup of hot chocolate with a little dollop of the islands. Which I’ve been drinking alot of lately…while wearing the aforementioned long sleeve shirt, and a bikini.

Baked Brie in a Bikini

‘Tis the season to eat cheese. Brie cheese to be exact, baked to gooey perfection. If anyone needs an appetizer to serve, bring to dinner, or start a conversation with, try out this new twist on baked brie…which just so happens to be wearing a bikini.

My older brother, Sam, traditionally makes the brie each year, and he likes to decorate it. So I should give him credit. Inspired by his brie dressing capabilities, I put it in an itsy bitsy ‘kini.

Here’s my recipe. I’m known to down half of a wheel in one sitting, and am lactose intolerant. It’s that good.

Beach Beauty: Dolled up water

Good ol’ H2O is pretty much the go to solution for everything. It plumps up your skin and helps whittle down your waist. Google “health benefits of water” and read away. Basically, when it comes down to it, hydration is the key to good skin and an essential to overall health. To be blunt. you gotta drink a lot of water if you want to look & feel good.

Problem. It is seriously lacking in the taste department. So I decided to conjure up a few little water makeovers that will make drinking this essential beauty fluid quite a bit more tasty. Think of it as ambush makeover, the water edition.
