A dozen rad pieces of swimwear

What do you do when you’re on a 6-hour flight with wifi and have some fun tropical travels coming your way? Check out what’s out there in the swimwear world.

Good news. There’ s lots of radness out there. And although the older I get the more I just appreciate a little seamless and supportive LBB, preferably with a boyshort cut bottom. I’m loving all the fits and variety. And prints. Hell I even stumbled on one with a vintage Hawaii map print ( Frankie’s bikinis you’re brilliant.)

So, here are a dozen that caught my eye. I’m sure I’ll find a dozen more before the flight lands. And if there are any you’re loving, leave a link for me in the comments below so we can check it out.

Ohhh swimwear, although I don’t get to rock you regularly, I sure do love looking at you. And Am getting even more pumped for our trips coming up.

Enough rambling. Here are the links to the beauts above.

1: Frankies Bikini Aloha Print suits – mix and match what style top and bottom you’d like. I’m having a hard time deciding between the Nick combo or Bea, or Bea Top and Tick bottom. Or vice versa. Regardless, this print had me at hello.

2: Ola Ferox SS20 – My gal Jess is BACK. Hallelujah! After having a kiddo, her designs are better than ever and her fit is impossible to match. My deflate-gate boobs are so eager to be in one of her tops again.

3: Still admiring everything Boys N’Arrows from afar. Might have to take the plunge on this racerback/boyshort combo (Sexi Lexy Top and Kiki the Killer Pant)- the big question will be the print: eagles or stingrays.

4: I’ve always been a fan of everything L*Space, and am also a big fan of the tie-dye trend. So, yeah. This suit rocks my world. Tie-Dye Millie Top + Jay Bottoms

5: Rip Curl Surf Revival Surf Suit – Retro sun protection at it’s raddest. Roar. Love all of the other Surf revival swim pieces too. Just something about those stripes.

6: Tavik Juliet Top + Heather bottoms – I think the neon might be sold out, but I’ll gladly try any color in this sporty duo.

7: Mara Hoffman pretty much mastered the polka dot bikini here. The Lira top + Kay Bottom  are just chic, retro, sporty, sustainable and typical Mara works of art. Swoon.

8: Maaji has a new eco-friendly line called Earth Warriors. The same buttery fabric and reversible styles you never want to take off, but made from recycled materials and using printing that consumes less water. It was hard to pick a favorite from the collection. I’ll take it all.

9: Another reversible sporty suit made from recycled materials is the Luquillo Top + Ponce Bottoms by Magdakine swim. A portion of the proceeds of this shark tooth print suit will go towards WildAid, a nonprofit working to end the illegal shark fin trade. (Here’s me rocking it in Costa Rica)

10: And…another Frankie’s Bikinis duo. The Gio Top + The Gio Bottom – It’s green tie-dye, and I’m just a sucker for her stuff lately.

11: This Beach Riot suit makes me actually like the high cut, high waisted with a sporty crop top so it could practically pass for a one-piece, trend. Big time.

and finally…

12: Leave it to MIKOH to totally nail the LBB with the Gomi top +Moku Bottoms (absolutely love the sporty Nihiru top too). I think I just want to go to all the placed their pieces are named after. It would be one helluva sweet bucket list.

There you go. Gotta love admiring swimwear. Anytime, anywhere. Even when flying across a continent.

We shall see which one I end up rocking in the next month or so. Hopefully, it’ll still look good paired with a blotchy self-applied spray tan. I am so pale.
