It’s not every day that you come across a swimwear line that is so comfortable, you would sleep, eat, work, go out, and surf in all of its pieces. Well, Basta Surf is one of those lines. I don’t know how she did it exactly, but designer Samatha August worked her magic and made bikinis that feel like a velvety second skin, stay put when surfing, provide the right amount of lift & support in the right places, and are so flattering, you don’t ever want to cover up. Bonus: all items are reversible. So you are getting two amazingly chic & bright colorful suits for the price of one. Can I get an amen?
My fave right now is the PADANG PADANG (pictured above on the gorgeous Miss Anne V in this year’s SI Swimsuit issue). I Just might go ahead and snatch it up too…because…this week, 25% of all proceeds from bastasurf.com will be donated to the Red Cross/Japanese Disaster relief.
