The Lineup

Although I could probably go a week with just using coconut oil and toothpaste in my beauty regime. There’s some rather innovative and fun products out there that 1: are too fun not to share, or 2: really being life savers in my mission to not look like Gollum.

Here are a few of those aforementioned products. Coconut oil included.

Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid: It makes your lips matte, bright, bold, and the color is totally opaque. I think it’s pretty stinkin’ (yes, it has a strong scent) sweet, and is a great impulse drugstore buy when you went to Walgreens to just buy Windex and a some lightbulbs.

Aveda Shampure Dry Shampoo – Finally, a dry shampoo that’s not an aerosol. The ozone thanks you. Along with my scalp and limp, oily fine hair. This stuff gives great texture and volume (as a dry shampoo should) but has that signature Aveda aroma that makes you feel saucy as well.

YonKa Paris Solar Care – Ok, Yon-Ka is a line of products that saved my skin in middle school and high school when it was at it’s absolute worst. So, I was stoked to receive some of the solar care products to test out. And have it save my skin again…a few decades later. Smells phenomenal, makes my skin super soft, and is helping my upper chest not look like a handbag. Merci Beaucoup.

Sonage R&R Peptite Eye Serum and Vitality Nourishing Serum – Speaking of Skin savers, let’s chat about this duo. I received these in a goody bag at the ritual reboot a few moths ago, and the eye serum, (although it does tingle a little at first). has really really helped my eyes. Which I really really need. And I plan on buying it once I run out. The serum? Well, it is seriously like a mini facial in a little tube. I believe both cost under $50 too. Wahooo!

Julep Nail Color – I pretty much only use Julep and Zoya in all my nail art, or when I get a few minutes to actually paint my fingers one color. The Julep polish is super opaque, yet very breathable, free of the über toxic stuff, conditions your nails, makes ‘em stronger…and comes in some totally kick-ass colors.

Vita Coco Cocnut Oil – I wasn’t kidding about the coconut oil. I use this everywhere: My face, body, hair, coffee, and even Levi’s diaper rash. I take this tub with me when I travel. And yes I also love this video

Chuda Healing Hydrating Creme – Ok, here is the fascinating product in the lineup. Chuda skin creme is a newcomer on the market, with a centuries-old, skin-healing Remedea Compound. Whoa. It basically creates a barrier on your skin that locks in all the good stuff that’s in it, so it can do it’s thang. And…it works. For me. Yes, I still have sun spots, but, it seriously plumps and makes my skin feel thicker and look more radiant. I had my mom (who is in her 60′s) try it on her skin too, and she’s now a fan. I was given this jar, but plan on buying it once I run out soon.

This Works Skin Deep Golden Elixir – It’s a nourishing body serum that softens your skin with über good stuff, and gives you a little bit of golden shimmer without you looking like a stripper. Hallelujah. I used this last week in Palm Springs and freaking loved it.

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Creme and Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer – This is my dream team. The CC Creme is sharing the throne with my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. Which is saying a LOT. Like, a lot. It’s even water resistant, and has anti-aging serum in it. So there’s that. The Concealer is a blessing. It brightens and covers up my massive new mom eye baggage, and doesn’t crease or make me look older, which all undereye concealers tend to do to me. So I love it. ( I am a hug fan of this line and what it stands for/promotes beauty-wise too.)

And finally..

Malie Organics Plumeria Shampoo and Conditioner – Because it just feels wrong to have a lineup post without some Malie in it. And I love smelling like Hawaii while showering. Ok, and it makes my hair feel great too.

Lineup April 2017. Donezo.
