Bromelia

If anyone wants a new swimwear line to put on their radar, let me point Bromelia Swimwear in your direction. It checks off all the boxes: soft fabric, comfy, flattering, hugs you in the right places, has some luscious tropical prints to chose from (as well as solids) and has a Rio meets Cali vibe down to a tee. Check check check check check.

It all makes sense because the line was created by Lauren Amber Quinn – a gorgeous Mama from California who now calls Rio De Janeiro, Brazil her home. Each piece is designed and handmade in Rio, and Lauren brought her Cali vibe along for the ride. (Cool fact: the design studio is in downtown Rio De Janeiro and is an old chocolate factory from the 1880s that has basically transformed and turned into a creative hub over the past decade.)

Her goal: To make a suit for anyone who loves some sunshine and just wants to kick things up a notch.

I’m a fan of that notch.

The prints and silhouettes had me at hello, and I’ve been rocking these two suits all week in Kauai. The bikini  (top and bottom) passed the surf and chase a 3-year-old around all day test (cannon balls included) and the one piece…I just can’t get enough of that juicy orange tropical print. One piece are hit or miss with me. This one was a hit. And based on the reviews, I’m not the only one.

I’m thinking a trip to Rio to check out this studio, watch Lauren design some prints, and of course, hit up the beach might need to be added to the travel to do list.

Bravo Bromelia. And Obrigada for your loveliness too.
