Well, in life update news, we moved to Michigan. T Well, in life update news, we moved to Michigan. Two days after saying goodbye to Kili, I said bye to beach life, felt like a chapter of life I loved was slammed shut, and all the air and motivation was knocked out of me. Changes like this take time, and the idea of ever being truly settled in is a bit foreign to me. But, you just have to look for the little glimmers in ordinary days (what’s in all these pics), be present, get out and about, and choose joy while also giving those tears permission to flow. Ok, and say hi to every dog I can, while holding onto summer as long as I can, too. But I hear Fall is next level up here. 🧡

So, if you’ve been following me for a while, life’s taken us many places. I feel like I’m part chameleon and part lone wolf by now, and we will see what this new season brings. I have a feeling Lake Michigan and the upper peninsula will be my happy place, so hopefully we’ll make it out there a bunch. Life’s crazy. Wear a helmet and thank goodness for Facebook marketplace. And that I didn’t give away all my cold weather gear.
Well, I had to say goodbye to my best four-legged Well, I had to say goodbye to my best four-legged friend, then to life at the beach in a matter of a few days. Life’s been heavy, full of random ugly cries, a bit of a blur, and my brain fog is at capacity, all while having one too many tabs open, too.

But I did manage to scribble down some journal thoughts before the move, and wanted to share. I love these things.

I’ll post a bunch of final beach pics and about life in our new location soon. But for now, I’m just taking it one day at a time.

Or in this case, page. Hope they’re somewhat legible. 🌊❤️‍🩹🖊️ #goldfishkisswriting #thoughts
How do you sum up an incredible life in few slides How do you sum up an incredible life in few slides and words…I can’t. This loss is such a deep hurt, and the love is so pure. Kili pup, I miss you, and my heart is so damn heavy. Run wild, run free, soak up the sun, steal all the pizza, and find all the sticks and tennis balls, my best four legged friend. ❤️‍🩹🐾
