I know a lot of people come to this blog for a ray of sunshine, happy place. So I wanted to share with you all who I go to for a ray of sunshine happy place. His name is Dallas Clayton. He’s an author, artist and public speaker. And he’s also my hero. Aka an enormous ray of sunshine for my soul.
Dallas’s art and poems just have a way of making me look on the bright side of things, smile, think I’m not such a weirdo, or just realize everything’s going to be ok. There’s been numerous times when I’ve stumbled on e a piece of his, and it feels like it was meant for me at that very moment. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way.
The world just needs more people like Dallas. Or maybe it really just needs more people to know who he is. Because he is living proof of how art and the right combo of words can make a huge impact, in little or big ways. Each day… sometimes with just a few scribbles.
Off to go buy a book and a few prints now.
Her are a few more of my favorites. If posted all of my favorites, this post would have about fifty pics. Enjoy. And go follow Dallas on all his accounts. You’ll be oh so glad you did: Dallas on Instagram • Facebook • Twitter
