Good ol’ H2O is pretty much the go to solution for everything. It plumps up your skin and helps whittle down your waist. Google “health benefits of water” and read away. Basically, when it comes down to it, hydration is the key to good skin and an essential to overall health. To be blunt. you gotta drink a lot of water if you want to look & feel good.
Problem. It is seriously lacking in the taste department. So I decided to conjure up a few little water makeovers that will make drinking this essential beauty fluid quite a bit more tasty. Think of it as ambush makeover, the water edition.
1: Strawberry lemon mint
Throw the following in a pitcher of water – ice, some fresh or frozen strawberries (sliced), a tablespoon of lemon juice, some mint leaves and finally water. Stir up & let sit for an hour or so, and drink up.
2: Pineapple orange
Throw the following in a pitcher of water – ice, a sliced up orange, some fresh or frozen pineapple chunks, and water. Stir up & let sit for an hour or so, and…bottoms up.
3: Cucumber mint berry
Throw the following in a pitcher of water – water, ice, some cucumber slices, mint leaves, frozen or fresh berry/berries of choice and water. Stir up, let sit for an hour or so, and chug away.
These l’il concoctions are tasty, virtually calorie free and if consumed while wearing a robe & towel on your head…make you feel like you are also in a spa.
