Grayton Beach

When we found out that one of the top 10 beaches in the US is just down the highway from us, we just happened to cruise down there yesterday. Coincidence? Nope. Our Labor Day was spent driving down to 30A and checking out Grayton Beach.

30A lived up to the hype and I can’t wait to go back and explore more. (We literally drove down, went to the beach, stopped and grabbed coffee, and had to drive back.) The next town south was called Watercolor, so I think I’ll need a postcard, tee shirt, and coffee mug from some shop there soon too. But Grayton, oh Grayton. It spoke my love language on so many levels. Hardly busy on a Holiday, white sand, clear warm water, clean, relaxed, and worth every penny of the $5 state park entry fee. My guess is there might be some waves there occasionally too. Swoon.

So here’s a few pics and a glimpse into our life. I had my camera on me the entire time. So I might’ve failed at being totally present, but I just love taking pics on outings like this. Which was also a little bit special seeing that it was the first time my husband has had Labor Day off from work in like a decade or so.

Grayton beach, I’ll see you again soon. I’ll definitely be bringing my standup and a few cold beers next time…oh yeah camping and cruising around on a bike might be a must later on this fall too.

Bikini from Ola Feroz // Levi is wearing Patagonia boardshorts too. (In case anyone noticed those cuties.)
