Written Out

I had a goal to make (or I guess I should say, scribble) one image like this a day, for 30 days. Well, I ended up with these five over the last few months. Baby steps though folks, baby steps. Something is better than nothing, right? Right.

I’m still going to attempt the 30 images in 30-days. Just consider this post the official kick off. Because even if it’s simply recreating old graphics into messy penmanship sketches (Like the palm tree smile one – which I wrote out a dozen times before settling on the sketch above.) Or quickly rewriting a favorite quote, a lovely word or a little blurb, it all still counts as creating, which just feels oh so good.

It doesn’t have to be deep, prophetic, or perfect, it just has to be …something.  I swear writing out your thoughts and sketching little things that resonate with you is tasty for the soul. And I’m going to start trying really, really hard to make it a habit.

So cheers to writing things out.

…as much as possible.

…even if it’s really really hard to read.

Sorry about that.

I’m working on it. Sort of.

Created using the Procreate app. It’s amazing. So is a pen and paper.
