Disposable cams. Love ‘em, yet haven’t used one for at least six years. HUJI Cam saves the day.
It’s an app that basically mimics the look and feel of a disposable camera. Which, in a time where it seems pictures must be perfect with a side of pixel perfect perfection…is quite refreshing. Oversaturated, grainy, light leaks, no tweaking or color correcting. Yum.
It also stirs up fond memories of carefully snapping 25 pics, then taking those disposable cams to Walgrees and coming back a few days to later and flip through an envelope of photos. Fun times.
So, yeah, I might be late to the game, but a good ‘ol HUJI pic, or five, is a great way to 1: bring back some memories, and 2: show off some outings from a salty, hot and humid day, in a less than perfect way.
I’m thinking this might need to be a regular thing.
