So this is pretty cool, ironic, or just a big blessing that’s not really in disguise at all. Just a few miles from my home is The Marjorie McNeely Conservatory – which for lack of a better term is a big glass tropical Oasis. Yep I’m living next to a conservatory filled with rooms full of impeccably maintained, curated, and oh so lush tropical plants and flowers. There’s even a “palm dome” full of all different types of palm trees.
The best part, aside from its visual scrumptiousness, is you walk in and the air is hot, and humid. Just how I love it. I heard some people complaining, whereas I was practically shedding tears of joy. My pores were too.
Needless to say I shall be frequenting this gem whenever I need my tropical flora and fauna fix. I’ll probably do my best to wear some sort of aloha print garment as well.

And will always be sure to snap plenty of pics. (Probably all up close and personal like these, because nature is just so damn gorgeous when you look at it’s details.)
Whoever decided to open up this thing back in 1915, this landlocked beach bum thanks you.
