Well, it turns out that our new home town has the longest fishing pier in the Gulf of Mexico. Yup, little Navarre Beach has a big ‘ol pier. I have yet to actually fish off of it, but have walked it numerous times. Levi chases seagulls and watches people fish (some people even let him hold the fish he catches). It’s open at night so my parents got to walk it and see jellyfish glowing below. I have yet to see dolphins, but hear they make appearances, and I have faith they will come say hi to me at just the right time. Yup. The pier is pure, simple fun. And worth every penny of the $1 charge.
And naturally, I snap some pics whenever we go. They are as close to drone or aerial photography as I’ll ever get.
So, here are a few of my favorites. Some of the days we went were postcard perfect mid morning glassy water days with people shelling or walking the beach below.
I think this might have to turn into a series, because these moments truly were as peaceful as they looked.
…and I like having an excuse to go back as much as possible.
