It’s not hard to write. It’s soothing, inspiring, and helps make sense of things. I do it all the time… in my head. And I do it so often it’s distracting. What’s difficult is sitting down and writing. Opening the word floodgates on paper or keyboard. Which I finally did the other day, then again tonight, and here you go. A few poems, or thought poems. Whatever you want to call them. Some person snarkily pointed out that my writing isn’t poetry, which means I’m doing something right. Right?
Anyways. I need to do a better job at sitting down, writing and posting, rather than scrolling and getting lost in my thoughts and self doubt. Adding it to my to do list of things I need to work on in life, which is getting long. Maybe that’s a good thing, too, right? No one ever has that to do list completely checked off. It’s blissful to be a constant work in progress.
Ok, enough rambling on about rambling. Hope one makes someone smile. Or sit down and start to write.
