In case anyone is looking for a healthy yet still festive energy boosting and rather delicious treat, try this tastiness out.
Let’s face it, we all have those cans of pumpkin we bought around Thanksgiving to make all those recipes we saw on pinterest…and didn’t. Well, it puts that to use, some fresh ginger, chia seeds, coconut, cinnamon, and honey.
I just had it for breakfast, and want another…NOW.
Pumpkin Ginger Chia Shake.
Mix up the following in a blender
• ¼ cup pumpkin puree
• 1 frozen banana
• 1 TBS fresh gut ginger
• 1 teaspoon honey ( I used this stuff. It’s unreal)
• ½ cup coconut milk
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Designer Whey)
• A Dash (or five) of cinnamon. Love cinnamon.
After blending, pour it in a bowl and mix in 1 TBS chis seeds.
Let this sit for a while (I let mine sit overnight) So the chia seeds can expand.
Pour in a glass or a mason jar (because I’m convinced everything tastes better in a mason jar), and savor some good for you deliciousness.
That will give you a reason to be buying a can of pumpkin more than once a year.
