As much as I love and appreciate color, living colorfully, dressing in a bright manner, and the vibrancy of a good palette, I just haven’t been able to jump on the bright hair color bandwagon. Until today. Moroccan Oil sent me some of their new color depositing hair masks, which is a totally non-committal way to make your hair a fun color for a few washes. I did a little Instagram Stories poll on what color to use and it was a toss-up between hibiscus (bright pink) and Aquamarine (bright blue). So, today after washing my hair, mixed that bright pink and blue together in hopes of seeing what I’d look like with purple hair.
Et Voila…Fun times.
Note: I did have purple hair one other time in my life. It was more of a someone messed up situation, and it was permanent and not that vibrant of color. So I definitely prefer this option.
I actually think it ended up really toning down the warmth of the majority of my hair, and then the bright blonde/ashy highlights soaked up most of the purple pigment and turned out brighter. Which is cool.
Anywho, if you want to give your hair some deep conditioning and have some fun with color all at once. I say give this stuff a shot. There are some more subtle colors too.
