Ohh summer. You’re right around the corner, and I’m anxiously awaiting your arrival at the crosswalk. I’m also already sweating in the humidity and absolutely loving it.

It’s my favorite season for everything – laid back style, layers, tropical pops, bikinis, retro gems, easy nails, and really not having to try at all and end up looking put together because hot temps are rad like that. Bring on the thunderstorms, thick humid air, rocking sarongs, rarely having dry hair, and sweating just by blinking. I’m pumped.
In the meantime, here are the deets:
• Faustine fine goods hat – Hats that are handmade from retro towels by one of the raddest gals around. I dare you not to fall in love with one.
• Makena Collection bikini (Kauai atop + bottom) and a Jemma Sands necklace I’m rarely taking off. Even while rolling in the sand. Who needs a beach chair? Not me.
• All about the easy nails – this was Zoya perfector plus treatment (which I highly recommend) with a few little flowers on top. That’s all I had time for, and I’m kinda all about the simple nails lately.
• My go to breezy and boxy tank, with a reversible Maaji swim I scored on eBay. It goes from neon tropical to pastel floral. Yhatzee. Good news, they have some sweet suits this season, too.
• The arm stack is loaded and ready for action and sand.
• Almost golden hour post swim glamour shot (The Terry button-up hoodie makes it legit.)
and finally…
• Good ‘ol go-go-gadget arm cool combo documentation. The Oversize Top/Dress and denim adidas hat are eBay scores, the bag is Las Olitas, and some super comfy flops wrap it up. (They’re memory foam and have arch support in hopes I won’t kill my feet again by going barefoot everywhere)
Ready, set, summer. I’m oh so ready. My yearly tub of sunscreen got here today, too. It’s official.
