The Lineup

Ok, time to talk about some of my favorite kinds of beauty products: The summery, sun protecting, smell good even when you’re always sweating, minimal, tropical, keep it simple yet hydrated and fun beauty stuff. Let’s refrain from talking about my love for run on sentences.

Vamos A la Playa…I mean into my bathroom and beach bag, to check out the lineup.  (There’s a giveaway too if you make it to the end of all my rambling.)

Karuna Exfoliating Foot mask – These are little sock like sheet masks that you slip on your feet then leave on for…I left mine on for an hour or so. I have super dry, tough and leathery feet – so dry at times that it’s painful. After using these, they felt more soft and hydrated than I can ever remember them feeling. And it lasted for a few days. Then I went and bought another set. These are the sheet.

Urban Decay Beached Collection – I know I did a whole post about this stuff already, but here’s the eyeshadow and lipstick again. I had to get the palm tree print lipsticks in the pic. Been rocking the heatwave/bronze shimmer one lately and I dig it.

Kai deodorant *rose – It’s about time I have some deodorant in one of these posts. Of course it’s from Kai – so it smells amazing. Gotta love it when my armpits are the best smelling part on my body. It’s also has no aluminum, combines vitamin e, chamomile, and plant extracts with natural skin conditioning sugars to control moisture, and is good for sensitive skin. Yay kai. my pits, and anyone I hug, thank you.

Malie Organics Koke’e Linen and Room spray – This is the stuff that made me fall in love with Malie over a decade ago. My husband used it as cologne on our honeymoon (even thought was room spray for our hotel room – not can be used as. Body spray too). Well, I am finding myself spraying it on myself lately as well. The scent is heavenly. And brings back some grrrreat memories.

Aloha Grown Beauty Regenerist Facial Mist and Pua Kenikeni Beauty mist.- I have one of these locally grown and made in Hana mists with me at all times. They are great for a quick skin wake me up, hydrating burst, or just a refreshing mist when it’s hotter than balls out. Aka a summertime essential.

COCOFLOSS – Let’s talk teeth. Smiling as much as possible is the best beauty tip there is. And well, we all need to floss more to keep that smile healthy. Myself included. Flosssed teeth = happy teeth. If you need an excuse to floss more…voila. I present…COCOFLOSS. It’s a dentist designed dental floss that’s Infused with microcrystalline wax, coconut oil, fruit oils, and tropical (or good ‘ol mint) fragrances. It’s a “loofah” type of wax with 500+ polyester filaments that gently scrub plaque away, and is Cruelty-free, vegan, gluten free, paraben free. I didn’t know dental floss could be this cool. But yes my friends, it is.

Trader Joe’s Coconut Body Butter – My mom brought me a tub of this, and after using it…was pleasantly reminded of why this might be one of my all time favorite body moisturizers. TJ’s for the win. Again.

Moroccan Oil Color Complete Collection – Moroccan Oil just sent me this new line that helps keep hair hydrated, protected and have the color last longer. Yes please. I’ve only been using it for a week, but already LOVE the Protect and Prevent spray – which will be used a TON given how much I’m in the sun and salt all summer. In fact, it’s in my beach bag instead of my bathroom. Which makes sense, right?

COSRX Triple C Lightnig Liquid  – I was sent a bottle of this this cult favorite, sell out super fast serum to test. So, I’ve been mixing three drops of this pure 20.5% Vitamin C into my moisturizer at night…and am wishing I took a before and after pic to know for sure, but I swear my acne scars on my chin are diminishing, same with a few of my sunspots on my cheeks and forehead. Found exclusively at SOKO Glam

…and last but not lest, and certainly most important…

SUNSCREEN

Supergoop SPF 50 Everyday Sunscreen – This pump will be with me all summer. Fact: I invest in a big ‘ol pumpin’ tub of my beloved Supergoop each summer. The hydration, protection, and peace of mind is worth every penny, and then some. I also always seem to have some of the mineral setting powder on me as well. So that’s in there too.

There you go.

Fun stuff. Zee Lineup is donezo.
