After overdosing on eggwhites and oatmeal for a decade, breakfast for me is now either 1: some sort of egg sandwich, or 2: a conglomeration of super foods blended into a smoothie…called the super smoothie. it is delish, it’s is super easy to make, and it is super great for the bikini bod. Superb.
Here’s the latest recipe:
In a blender combine the following:
A handful of spinach, or ¾ c frozen spinach
A large handful of mixed frozen berries (my combo is blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. It’s a mixed bag at costco)
2 tbs chia seeds
1/3 cup plain nonfat greek yogurt
1 tbs honey
1 serving V8 Fusion. Any flavor.
1 tsp coconut oil.
Blend until smooth
…enjoy, and have a freaking fantastic start to your day. Sure beats a doughnut. That’s for the weekend.
