  • Tiny House Big fun

    October 21, 2020

In a time where all I want to do is simplify and be out in the middle of nature, a quick getaway to a little tiny house in the mountains was beyond a breath of

    February 11, 2020June 5, 2020

Ohh Sayulita. We’ve been here for a week now and this place has my kind of inspiration everywhere: Fun waves, good food, colors, glorious colors everywhere, murals, unique artistic touches and a bohemian vibe that

Just went through my camera roll and picked out th Just went through my camera roll and picked out the first unposted one that pulled on my heart strings. Levi had fallen asleep next to me with his little arm stretched out on my chest. So I just held his hand for a while, then after a few minutes grabbed my camera and (awkwardly) tried to take a pic. It was a serendipitous beach moment, and looking back at the time I thought taking a pic was pointless. But now I’m sitting here remembering the sound of the waves and how he seemed to be breathing along with them in his sleep. I know I’m not taking as many pictures these days, and life’s still beautiful, but in a bit less photogenic (or easy to for me to photograph) form. Or maybe I just need to keep my camera (not my phone) around to try and capture little moments like this. Because, when you look back one day, who knows what a certain imperfect pic might make you feel. 🖤 #memoriesinblackandwhite
Here’s a quick little colorful messy desk update Here’s a quick little colorful messy desk update: 1: finally got a decent pic of a big blue floral piece that’s a pain in the butt to photograph, 2: skinny dipping goals, 3: fun little funky sketch, 3: bloomin left, and 4: cowboy boot vase. Fun times. Now, time to sketch out a new one. This stuff is fun. @goldfish_kiss_art

*Also, after many dialogues back and forth with myself, I am making MORE CALENDARS 🎨🌴 You can preorder them on goldfishkissgoods (I’ll put the link in my bio) and they’ll be shipping in late February. 🌴🎨🌺 #goldfishkissart #watercolors #colorfulart

What else? That cookbook is to help me with the Mediterranean diet, that I’ve been (loosely) following since July, and feel grrrrreat. And yes, there are also old tennis balls all over our home. Kili leaves a trail of them wherever she goes, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

That’s it. Just a little glimpse of a nook of our home that feels a little like me. Must be the palm trees. 🌴🧡🎾

You’re such a beautiful but crazy adventure. Writing/creative/self doubt/overthinking block...o Writing/creative/self doubt/overthinking block...or whatever you call it, sucks the life out of the right side of my brain. But, the best route I’ve found to work through it is to just write. Preferably with minimal thinking and maximum word regurgitation. So, here’s what happened when that happened. Turns out I kind of like these little ones, and hopefully someone out there might relate to one of them too. Yay writing. Definitely recommend it. #goldfishkisswriting #poems
