The Lineup

Ok, the bathroom is unpacked and looking like a mini beauty department. Which is funny since I’ve really been narrowing down products I’m using lately. (I think I’m just incapable of organization.) Either way, here are a few products that made the lineup, are making me look less tired that I really am, or just make me sing I Feel Pretty in some shape or form from the inside out. (Oh yeah if you make it through this novel there’s a giveaway too.)

Here we go…

• First off, Follain. If you haven’t heard of this site (or their shops), go check it out, bookmark it, and have you and your skin thank me later. It’s basically your go-to for anything clean beauty and non-toxic skincare or makeup (With a good variation of prices too). But everything on their site has to check off a ton of boxes to be featured. They sent me a box of their in-house Follain line, and It’s rather stellar (especially the lip balm, trust me.) So, if you’re like me and trying to be as clean as possible when it comes to beauty stuff, consider this place your beauty stuff happy place.

• Finn & Co. Aka my new daily perfume ( black sand perfume oil) and body creme ( white sand body creme). The scent is still beachy, but in a rustic rugged way. Think swapping coconuts and tuberose for a Nicholas Sparks foggy beach walk with some honeysuckle. It actually kind of parallels my life lately, hence my love of the scent. Their body cremes are super lightweight but hydrating too. I’m really pretty darn pumped about the line, and how I’m smelling these days.

• Speaking of these days, I always like to show some love to my go-to primer/CC combo: Laura Mercier Radiance primer and It! Cosmetics Your Skin but Better Matte – Oil Free CC Creme. If my skin ever appears glowing and super even-toned, you have this combo to thank (I know it’s not clean, but I’m not perfect, nor will I ever claim to be.)

• Then there’s some Tata Harper goodness. If you missed this post. I’m pretty much obsessed with anything they make. (I was sent some skin care to test back over the Holidays..and I’m now hooked.) I know it’s pricey, but her lip/cheek tints are stellar (and will last a while), and her masks have me seeing masks in a whole new light. (I wear the hydrating floral mask as an overnight treatment and wake up looking like I had a facial.)

• The entire herbivore botanicals line intrigues me: It’s gorgeous, reminds me of the tropics, yet was started in a kitchen in Seattle, and well checks off so many personal boxes. Which means, of course, their Coco Rose coconut oil body scrub is just soooo damn goood.

• Two words kai*rose. Three more: some new stuff. One word: Hallelujah. kai just released some new products in their kai *rose range: *rose body buffers ( a staple in my shower) and body glow (the product that got me hooked on kai in the first place) Both of these make the tropics and beach life feel a little closer to home. Therefore they rock my world. Bravo kai. Bravo to ya rose.

• People often ask what I use on Levi’s hair, my answer: whatever leave-in conditi0ner I’m using these days. Which means…Sun Bun 3 in 1 Leave in Conditioner. I was told it’s awesome stuff. And you all were correct. Levi’s locks do not lie either.

• Speaking of locks, my hair is missing that gritty salty texture that the ocean oh so easily provides, and this Moroccan Oil Dry Texture spray gives helps when my hair gets homesick. Seriously. Volume, a little grit with a side of salty messiness. Yum.

• And I think my quest for the perfect all natural deodorant might have found it’s Lost City of Atlantis. Farmacy Beauty’s Freshen up all natural deodorant stick. Queue the Hallelujah chorus with a touch of tea tree oil or is it peppermint. Whatever it is, my pits feel minty fresh. Which is always a good thing for anyone within 3 feet of me. (Is also just a really cool line to check out.)

Welleco Super boosters – These are the Detoxifying liver tonic, and they’re helping my body forget what I did to it in college. Ok, I also feel like I have something in common with Elle MacPhearson whenever I drink them. Hopefully, it’s our healthy livers. Ok, the entire Welleco supplement line seems intriguing. and this is the first one I’ve tried, and it’s delicious. Hopefully, my liver has forgotten about spring break my Sophmore year. Cancun was a doozie.

…and last but not least.

• Another Wet Brush is peeking out there in the corner because I pretty much have one of these on me at all times. Also, it’s the only way I can brush Levi’s hair.

Lineup. May 2019. Done.

I tried to keep it short, but there’s just so much good stuff out there, and I love chatting about it. (In fact, I just realized I forgot a few things…will save them for the next one.)

*Everything but the Wet Brush, Laura Mercier Radiance, were given to me as a gift or sent in hopes of a review. I love my job.

**I also love sharing the perks with you. So I’m giving away a box of beauty goods for someone to test (Unused, promise) To enter: Comment below and let me know of any recent beauty product you’ve tried that you’re diggin’. or it can be an old tried and true. Just love reading what things you all are loving Winner will be announced and contacted by me in a week. Thanks! *Giveaway closed. Congrats to the winner, Brooklyn, and thank you all for entering. • I just recently got to try the REN Skincare Clean Screen Mattifying Face SPF 30 and I loveee it! It protects my face from the sun, doesn’t feel greasy like other sunscreens and it works amazing under makeup!!

  • I’ve been loving The Ordinary’s Hyaluronic Acid serum! All their products are great and are super affordable! I’m a sucker for anything from Farmacy though, that deodorant is amazing.

  • Tried and true product is the Moroccan oil dry texture spray!! New fav is glossier’s Balm Dotcom in the coconut flavor! LOOOOOVE that stuff 🙂

  • Totally obsessed with drunk elephant right now, in particular the d-bronzi anti-pollution sunshine drops. It’s like having that perfect glowy tan without the commitment of an actual tan (spray, self or otherwise). I love mixing it in my moisturizer and a little goes a long way so it lasts for.ever

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lucas Papaw Ointment 🙂 it’s been my favorite chapstick for years and it’s something I don’t go a day without using! You can also use it for cuts, burns, scrapes, rashes, etc. The best!

  • My tried and true is Biosilk for my hair. My hair is thick and frizzy and biosilk makes it so soft and easy to brush. Every once in a while I try something different but always go back to it!

  • Beautycounter’s color intense lipstick! It’s clean, surprisingly minty, and actually hydrates my lips! Love your blog 🌺

  • I have recently fallen madly in love with all cheek stains. (Gimme all the glowy pink cheeks please and thank you). Specifically I’ve been using glossier Cloud Paints. Although I am truly intrigued by the above beauty products. I would love to swap it out for something cleaner.

  • I am officially hooked on the new product by Vintner’s Daughter. The Active Treatment Essence is pretty much magic. It compliments the serum and has done wonders for my sun damaged, dry skin!!

  • I just started using Good Genes by Sunday Riley and I LOVE it. It’s definitely helping with my fine lines and dark circles!

  • I just recently tried Biossance (their 5 am instagram ad got me while I was weak) Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer and it is a DREAM. Super cool company too. Definitely worth a try! My skin felt more firm and also soft at the same time.

  • I love the sum bum leave in conditioner, the smell instantly reminds me of summer. Not sure if you have Trader Joe’s near you but they have an awesome hair mask as well. .. smells pretty great too

  • I’ve been loving anything Supergoop. I wear their CC cream everyday and it never fails!

  • Pacifica mascaras for a natural alternative; Tree of Life Beauty vitamin C serum – if it counts, I’m finishing the same bottle I’ve had since August

  • I have three things that have really been helping my skin: Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily peel (just use it at night every other day cause it’s pricey), Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature Serum, and Caudalíe Vinoperfect Radiance Serum.
Also I have been trying the Living Proof In Shower Styler since your post on Instagram and have really liked it.

  • I love love love It! Cosmetics Your Skin but Better Matte Creme, I read about it here a while ago and have loved it ever since…thank you! I am especially curious about Finn & Co oils as I have been interested in a new scent (and my kiddos name is Finn so in honor of him, I’ll smell good😉) Thanks for the Follain website which is now bookmarked for me~I’m always hoping for clean and nontoxic, when I can. Thanks mama~

  • I’m also trying to get on the clean beauty and natural deodorant bandwagon! Not perfect, but working on it 🌊 looking forward to trying Native’s Coconut and Vanilla deodorant and Tata Harper’s Resurfacing mask. I can relate on smells taking you back home when you’re homesick. I’m from Puerto Rico living in northwest Canada! Love your blog ❤️🌈🌺🐚

  • I’m on the hunt for a new BB/CC cream combo for my skin and I’ll have to check out your rec! I’ve been loving all of Indie Lee’s line and her vision for clean beauty. Specifically her Daily Vitamin serum has been amazing!

  • My go-to quick moisturizer (under eyes & on lips) is the mymatcha from cocokind. It’s natural and hydrating! Loving it!

  • Love anything sunbum! But my fav lately as been the Kristin Ess air dry creme. Game changing, for effortless hair out of the shower

  • I am so late to the game, but finally decided to try some of Trader Joe’s beauty products because I have heard just so many good things about them! Recently I have been loveeee with their Coconut Body Butter — which is amazingly hydrating — and their face wash with tea tree oil — which leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and silky smooth!! I love that both products are inexpensive too.

  • All this stuff looks awesome – I adore Sun Bum, so I’ll have to add the leave in conditioner to my list of products to try! As for products I’m currently loving, I’ve been madly in love with Frank Body’s lip balm for a while now. It’s super thick and moisturizing, so it’s perfect at night as more of a lip mask or for a glossy look during the day. I’m also loving Marie Veronique + Kristina Holey’s Barrier Restore Serum. I have eczema and was recently diagnosed with Perioral Dermatitis as well, and this stuff has completely saved my skin! It’s expensive, but 100% worth it (and it lasts forever).

  • Greetings from Florida!
I just love anything from the HERBIVORE line! Absolutely love the Coco rose body polish (and the packaging design is on point!)…Have you tried any of their facial oils? I ordered the mini trio facial oils and I’m loving all three, especially the Blue Tansy! If it’s CLEAN, CRUELTY FREE, and SMELLS AMAZE, I’m all about it! xx

  • One product that I have recently found to be a game changer for me Is the Frank Lip Scrub! I’ve tried every lip balm known to man, and using Frank’s scrub before a balm has completely saved my lips from dry West Texas. Definitely a hero product! Can’t wait to check out some items from your lineup!

  • I love lush’s “breath of fresh air” herbal toner face spray. it’s so refreshing and smells so good imo. if you like natural n herbal smelling things, you’ll love this!

  • Girlllll….where to start?! For my hair (since I am trying to achieve that sunkissed blonde look all year long) I need need need Amika Bust Your Brass Shampoo to keep the red clay off my blonde locks. Sun Bum has an awesome hair oil that I use instead of the 3 n 1 leave in. It is just as awesome, if not more so than the leave in.
I admit…I fell victim to the FabFitFun craze and got one…and I am proud of it! They are wonderful packages of joy! In my last one I got a TULA Purifying Face Cleanser, there’s probiotics in it and stuff and it is forever and ever going to be a staple in my vanity. No question about it…I even stole my mom’s when I was home!

  • I’m loving Herbivore’s new After Sun Soothing Aloe Mist. I kept it in the fridge and spritz myself and the kiddo when we get home from the pool, beach, park, etc…

  • I love Kopari products. Pretty much use their whole line and my skin hasn’t been this clear and glowing in a long time. The tropical escape for your senses is a bonus as well. Instant vacation vibes!

  • I love coola produces they never disappoint and as an added bonus they have SPF in them. I love easy makeup that I can just throw on in five minutes and run out the door if need be. I’m a top knot, ripped jeans kind of girl. Having an easy makeup routine is simple and easy don’t have to worry about the weather washing off my face either 😀

  • Oh what a great giveaway Rebekah! I have a few things I’ve been loving recently. My favorite cleanser of all time is the Aurelia probiotic Miracle Cleanser, it’s so gentle and silky on my crazy sensitive skin. I also love their Cell Revitalise Night Moisturizer which smells gorgeous with ingredients like Rose, lavender, mandarin and neroli. It’s also a bio organic and ethical brand so check it out if you haven’t already heard of it! Makeup wise the Charlotte tilbury beach stick in “Ibiza” gives a bronze dewy glow that I love and the Benefit Hervana blush which gives the most natural looking flush which I like to sweep over my eyelids too. I always look forward to seeing your beauty line ups it’s like Peeking into a friends makeup bag! ♡

  • I live for these line ups.
    – Drunk elephant d.bronzi gives a good sunkissed glow + it has some anti-pollution mojo so I feel like its #health for my skin
    – Herbivore Emerald Oil – in some states I think this has actual CBD but mine was just hemp and it is so hydrating and light. Doesn’t make you feel greasy and is a clean product line.
    – Commodity perfumes let you mix and match your different scents to build your own however I am OBSESSED with the “Rain” scent and I use it alone every single day.
    – Olaplex Bond Strengthener. I dont know what is in this and it probably isn’t clean but my hair is the softest it has ever been. No frizzies, still holds curl, but feels healthy and shiny. Better yet, you only need an actual pea sized amount for a massive mane of hair. In. Love.

  • Great post!!! I recently stumbled across Brazilian bum bum body butter!!! It just melts into the skin, gives great tone and smells like summer!!! What’s not to love 💖
