Goldfish Kiss X Rip Curl. It’s here. Pinch me.
Yup. I collaborated with one of my favorite surf brands (if you’ve ever rocked a G Bomb suit or Mirage bikini, you’re most likely a fan too) on a line of hats, tees, tanks and bikinis. We even threw in a hoodie for good measure. It’s bright, it’s fun, it’s all soft, and my watercolors are all over the place. If you see someone on the beach wearing every single piece and doing the running man. It’s probably me.
I had a great time working with the brilliant team at Rip Curl, and really think this is something special. I made a few custom prints for the bikinis, did a new version of a painting from my book, and turned some palm tree type into a watercolor. Yes, it was definitely some of the more enjoyable work I’ve done in a while. Because I love painting. A lot. And love that you all can rock this love of mine in different forms, in and out of the water, on bright days and gray, and on good hair days and bad.
A huge thanks to Rip Curl for your continued support of artists in your collabs. I’ve looked up to some of the artists they’ve worked with in the past for quite some time. Holy moly, I’m one of them now.
Thank you all for being fans of my art, which made me continue to share and paint, which opened this door, and yeah. It’s a good feeling.
Now, feel free to go pick up a piece or two.
Goldfish Kiss X Rip Curl – Available at ripcurl.com, and your local surf shop (hopefully. iI not tell them to get their butt in gear)
