The only thing cooler than a big ‘ol detailed fishtail, is a cute l’il baby one. Ever since I saw this pic, I’ve pretty much had a baby fishtail in my hair 24/7. I think of it as a subtle, free hair accessory.
So, here’s how to do a l’il Fishtail.
1. Grab a 1-2 inch section of hair.
2. Divide into two sections.
3. Grab a small piece of hair from the outside of one section, and pull it over to the outside of the other section.
4. Now, pull a small piece of hair from the outside of that section, and pull to the outside of the other side.
5. Repeat
6. a lot
…until you are almost at the ends.
Then you are done.
* if you do tiny sections you might not even need to tie your hair at the ends. Just use pomade or gel, and let it gradually get undone. Looks cool. Promise.
