Michelle Vawer. Raised on Oahu, swam across the Auau channel from Lanai to Maui in 5 hours and 30 minutes, was recruited to swim at Yale, and Sports Illustrated Swim was lucky enough to have her in some photos this year.
Basically she’s a real-life, beautiful, smart, mermaid.
I am totally convinced that Hawaiian beauties take the cake in the beach babe department, and eat it too. Heck, they can surf it off, or do an 8.8 mile open water swim.
