It’s been waaaaay too long since I painted some

It’s been waaaaay too long since I painted some shells. So I thoroughly enjoyed (and recommend) the zen that zoning out and adding to the natural beauty of these serves up.

Fun fact about the shells: My husband and I were at dinner and some of the items we ordered at the raw bar were served in these shells. Well, they were going to get thrown away, so I stuffed them all in my little purse - while the people sitting next to us at the bar were wondering what the heck I was doing. Hey, I’m an interesting date.

Anywho - painting or drawing on shells. Definitely give it a try. 🐚🎨 Used @poscaoficial pens and then @danielsmithartistsmaterials watercolor ground on the inside so I could watercolor the background. Fun times. 🐚🎨 #paintedshells #sharpieshells #goldfishkissart

Ohh selfies. Can never figure out what to say, or if it’s creepy or not, and I’m convinced iPhones are the harshest lenses ever. But… I was lying in the grass by my dog, felt pretty in spite of only having mascara on, and hadn’t picked off my nail polish yet. So I snapped a few. Then thought it was cool to make it half black and white (mainly because couldn’t decide which edit I preferred) Anywho, there’s a little glimpse into my overthinking. Here you go. Thought this was cool. Have a great day. 🖤☀️
