Well, after the Super Bowl had my heart beating through my molars for a good four hours, I needed something to wind down…something relaxing…something like…dreaming of the beach house.
Also, sitting on my couch that is missing a cushion because my pup chewed one up last time I was out of town, might have also contributed to having the bright, vibrant, organized, chic, yet cozy beach house of my dreams on my mind.
So here are a few things that will have to be in this house that is being built in my mind, and maybe in the future (On a beach in Hawaii), should I ever win Powerball.
This bright & festive mint & sherbet colored room will, no doubt, be inspiration for my home office, or somewhere where I spend a lot of time, in some shape or form.
Ivana Revic’s Beach sign she found. Is quite possibly, the greatest beach house find of all times. And might inspire me to start going to flea markets from time to time.
This stenciled floor, would be amazing in an entryway. Or Hallway. Or any floor. I might have to figure out a way to do something like this in my apartment right now. I am SURE my landlords would approve.
A cozy yet cool room that just begs for people to come over and watch football, hang out, have a mojito making competition, or play Scrabble…would be oh so fun to have. Apparently this is the Citizens Of Humanity office. Go figure. Rad jeans. Rad interior design skills.
And octopus hook to hang anything from a towel, to jewelry, to a wet bikini, to a coat on. Because everyone, and I mean everyone, needs an octopus hook in a beach house.
There you go. Dream on beaches.
