The Beach House

Ok, I really try to not be jealous of people and things. But I must confess, there is a bit of envy when I think of living in a bright, airy, always filled with great natural light, house. Don’t get me wrong, I am very thankful for my current roof over my head, and place to sleep, but the mere 10-20 minutes of natural light in the morning and afternoon in our current place, has me dreaming…of a bright, airy, always filled with good natural light because it has a ton of windows that are looking out on the water, beach house.

So, here’s what I’m dreaming of lately, that’s making me want to sell everything that I own, in hopes of saving up for a down payment…

A long, spacious, high ceiling bathroom with a floor so gorgeous I’d stare at it instead of the mirrors above the sink. And don’t get me started on that tub presentation. Leave it to Bali.

I’d probably make a plethora of these hanging skateboard shelves that DIY genius A Pair & A Spare made. In fact I’ll be making one for my rental here soon. Wish me luck.

Three words: Mosaic Tile Backsplash. One more: Drooling.

A comfy, cozy, pom pom adorned guest bed. Right by a window. So the could enjoy all the gorgeous light 24/7 too.

I’d have this amazing sign made for the bedroom. Which would always be a conversation starter/awkward moment of silence when anyone gets a house tour for the first time.

And last but not least…

An outdoor hanging bed on the patio, where, without a doubt, every single nap would be taken, and every single book would be read.

Gosh, I love dreaming about this beach house.

Even if it just gives me an idea on how to make my current rental a bit more dreamy.

Which is always a good thing.

None of these photos are mine. All photos are from my Beach House and Fixin Up My Rental Pinterest boards.
