Chia Pops

Ch ch ch chia…pops. The perfect, tasty, cool, bikini friendly treat for summer. They take less than 5 minutes to make, and are so jammed packed with Omegas and antioxidants, they also take 5 years of sun damage off your skin. I wish.

Here’s the recipe…

Ingredients:

Frozen fruit (I used pineapple, mango and papaya)

Juice ( I used V8 Fusion strawberry banana blend)

1/3c Chia Gel (I make a big tub of this each week. Combine 1/3 cup chia seeds and 3 cups water, mix up and let it sit overnight.)

2tbs Agave Nectar

1 tbs lime juice.

Directions:
Blend ingredients in a blender so it’s not too chunky, not too smooth.

I poured mine in a mini cupcake pan, then stuck toothpicks in them for mini pops. Feel free to use an ice cube tray, cupcake/muffin pan, or if you’ve really got your act together, real Popsicle molds.

Let freeze.
